All About this Tour
The Mekong is Vietnam’s richest agricultural region. The area offers an abundance of fresh fruits, flowers, and rice to name a few. Vietnam’s "rice bowl" is also home to many handicraft workers that you will be able to meet along the way. Our team will take you from village to village taking a few boats along the way. We will also visit with local artisans, to give you a deeper understanding of Vietnamese life on the river. This trip concentrates all the essence of the Mekong with Ben Tre, the coconut kingdom; local sampan boat rides on the Co Chi River; Cai Rang’s floating market and Tra Su National Reserve and Bird Sanctuary. After about 77km per day, the last day will be relaxing for your legs as you will board a speed-boat heading to Phnom Penh.
