All About this Tour

Dalat is famous for it's hilly landscape, waterfalls, cool weather, French colonial architecture as well as it's ethnic groups proud of their culture, language, ways of living and traditional clothes. Mr Biker Saigon does not simply offer a tour across the highlights of the region with knowledgeable guides, but our team also makes sure to take you through the authentic Vietnam on a journey of farmer encounters, breathtaking views, remote family visits, history and authentic gastronomy throughout a mountain bike challenge for off-road lovers. Moreover, get ready for some adventures with a rafting day!

Day 1 Western Dalat 22 km (L,D)
You will be met by our cyclist team at Dalat airport before being transferred to your hotel. After your check-in, you will be transferred for 45 minutes from the city center into the north-western hills of the region where you will start your 22 km cycling journey downhill offering spectacular landscapes consisting of pine trees forests, small farms and the Dankia Lake. At the base of the Langbian Mountain, the trail will begin to flatten and evolve into hills surrounded by farmland before encountering your first ascent of the trip, a gradual demanding climb. After a break, it will be time for several steep climbs, up to 1,570m, followed by a new plunge on dirt roads into the magical pine forests and lake view. Our cycling day can end here with a transfer back to your hotel or if you wish, you can also ride back to Dalat (12km).

Day 2 Northern Dalat 22 km  (B,L,D)
You will be transferred early to the forests located in Northern Dalat for some off-road adventure. You will start riding around Victoria Lake on a first wide trail which will later on narrow down. It will become more technical with fun natural obstacles along the way making the journey a roller coaster ride. You will become the ethnic minority farmers’ morning entertainment as they do not see many foreigners in this area and specially not navigating those roads by bicycle! After a well-earned lunch, our team will continue guiding you across the forest paths offering you amazing views of the Central Highlands’ mountainous region, particularly Langbian (2169m) the highest mountain of the region. The day will finish with the visit of the Valley of Love, a site famous for its romantic park.

Day 3 Rafting on the Langbian River (B.L)
Time for some adrenalines but this time on water! Our team will pick you up quite early to head to the Langbian River. Once on site, you will go for a short hike (3km) to get to the boats. Most of this thrilling day will be spent on the water where you will enjoy seeing Dalat through a new light as it is one of the least visited areas of the region. The rafting activity will be divided between relaxing and exciting moments on the river offering class 2, 3 and 4 rapids, how fun! You will be transferred back to your hotel at the end of the day.

Day 4 Eastern Dalat 38 km (B,L,D)
Your fourth day will begin on a rather relax pace with a great road from Dalat past Xuan Huong Lake and up on around flower farms. After 6 km, the road will turn into a dirt trail which will become a flat single-track section around Victory Lake. Enjoy the ride through the lakes, pine forests and farmlands as the challenges are about to begin. From this moment on, the hills, consisting of daunting climbs and steep descents, will start to appear and the trail will fluctuate from a wide dirt road to a single-track. It might be tough, but all these efforts will be worth it after 20 km as we will stop in the secluded ethnic minority Sieng Village for a break followed by a drive to the next village for lunch where you will get to experience local tasty products grown in the region. The afternoon will be all about cycling back into charming farmlands before heading to Dalat where our team will take you to the must-see attractions of the city such as the The Railway Station’s steam locomotives and if time permits the Crazy House, name given to a local guesthouse for its unconventional worldwide known bizarre architecture; and Bao Daoi Summer Palace, Vietnam’s last emperor.
